Relaxation is essential for physical and mental well-being.  When we are more relaxed, our bodies simply function better.  We may notice decreased muscle tension, improved sleep, and more efficient digestion.  We are also often able to think more clearly, enjoy better moods, and be more creative.  When we reduce stress, the nervous system has more resources available for healing and repairing tissues, and rebuilding energy.

At WWU’s Fairhaven College, I studied Somatics/Awareness Through the Body, which totally changed my life and led me to massage and bodywork. I graduated from Brenneke School of Massage in 2000. I have lived on Queen Anne and continued practicing and exploring bodywork since. I enjoy creating space for listening to our bodies, as well as experiencing more peace in our bodies and minds through massage. It is my pleasure to meet and work with you.
