Hi there!

I’m so excited to be opening my practice again after a bit of a hiatus to work with my husband in his photography business.  I love helping people get more in touch with their bodies and just feel better.  About 11 years ago in college, I took some classes in Somatics/Body Awareness and I was quite shocked to find out how tense I was!  I think our culture tends to breed a disconnection between body and mind (um, that’s an understatement…).  As I started noticing how my body felt more and more, I got more in touch with my needs and could experience more pleasure in life.  When I started getting regular massages, I was amazed to feel such relaxation.  I wanted to keep exploring this in the hopes of sharing it with others.  I decided to go into bodywork, which led me to massage school.

My hubby and I have spent the past few months working on my space, my brochure, my web site, etc.  I have to give hubs a lot of credit here—he’s been the tech dept., handyman, and general support!  My office is in a new building on the top of Queen Anne Ave. above Wink Cupcakes (the aroma coming out of there is torture!).  We put a lot of effort and love into it, so I hope you get to see it and experience it!

I plan to write a bit here about hot stone massage, hydration, breathing, different types of bodywork, networking with other practitioners, and some other more personal/fun topics.  If there’s anything you would like me to address, let me know and I’ll see what I can do!

Please sign up on my email list on the contact page if you’re interested in hearing about news or special offers.

Thanks for visiting!
